The Regional Geographic Information System Department of IAU îdF presents here some examples of geographic data in the form of commune cards or of interactive maps.
Communes can be chosen in an interactive regional map or in an alphabetical list.

1999 digital orthophoto For any commune, a card displays an extract of the colour digital orthophotography (National Geographic Institute, aerial photographic cover of summer 1999), cut up by the commune boundaries.
For almost 25 years now, IAU île-de-France has been setting up a geographic information system in Île-de-France covering all areas of its scope of activity (the economy, demography, regional development, urban planning, the environment, facilities, transport, etc.)
The system, used for regional planning and development, is know as : Système d'Information Géographique Régional (SIGR) - Regional Geographic Information System.
